On July 14th, 2018 Jabari Parker signed a 2-year $40M deal with the Chicago Bulls. The Milwaukee Bucks had a chance to match this offer as he was a restricted free agent at the time. Parker is looking to change his reputation in the league with his new team, even though he is still early in his career. Injuries and short minutes on the court have held him back to showing his high projected potential by scouts when he first entered the league.
Ray Allen has taken a liking to Parker and giving him high praise in recent days. Allen said this about the new young Bull, “He’s a very good, humble, down-to-earth guy. As a player, he reminds me of Paul Pierce but bigger. His potential is so great.”
